Are you a residential Property Manager in the Watford area looking for a new full-time role? Our client, a friendly local Estate and Lettings agency, are seeking an experienced residential Property Manager to help oversee a residential lettings portfolio.
Manage landlord and tenant relationships, and ensure full compliance within a busy lettings department.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised Property Manager who has previous experience and can hit the ground running
The successful candidate will manage a residential property portfolio, liaise with landlords, tenants, suppliers, and contractors, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Candidates with ARLA accreditation and significant property management experience will be given preference. This full-time position offers stability, career development and the opportunity to work with a respected local estate agency.
What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):
* Managing a portfolio of residential properties
* Handling tenant enquiries and maintenance requests
* Coordinating contractors and overseeing property repairs
* Ensuring compliance with lettings legislation and safety regulations
* Overseeing tenancy renewals, check-ins, and check-outs
* Managing rental arrears and deposit processes
* Providing excellent customer service to landlords and tenants
* Supporting the office team with general property management administration
What We're Looking For (Skills & Experience):
* Proven experience in residential property management
* Strong understanding of lettings and property management procedures
* Professional and customer-focused approach
* Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
* Exceptional organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Full UK driving licence and own car
* Knowledge of the Watford area (advantageous)
* ARLA qualification (preferred but not essential)
