The Role:
We are seeking an energetic, field-based Business Development Manager to join a top manufacturer of commercial ovens, covering Wales and the West Midlands. In this role, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities within your territory. You'll be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients and ensuring their satisfaction by providing real-time oven demonstrations and expert advice. Key Responsibilities:
5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with heads of sales at dealerships, and end users in the hospitality sector such as restaurant managers and head chefs across Wales & the West Midlands.
6. Identify and cultivate new opportunities within your existing territory by engaging with key business executives and stakeholders. Provide live demonstrations to 'wow' clients and boost revenue. The unique selling point of this business is offering an exceptional 'Individual Cooking Experience'!
7. Attend several face-to-face meetings per week with distributors, dealers, and end-users. Deliver training on innovative, high-tech products that revolutionize the industry.
8. Using a multichannel approach, you will be responsible for new business revenue in Wales & the West Midlands, playing an integral role in driving the company's £350 million turnover to £500 million this year.
Requirements:
9. Minimum of 2 years' experience in business development or account management, with experience in customer relationship building.
10. Strong background in field sales and managing your own territory. Familiarity with CRM systems to manage your pipeline effectively.
11. Comfortable working independently, managing your own schedule and targets, as well as collaborating with a wider team across regions.
12. A driven, tenacious individual who thrives in a busy environment.
13. Experience in selling high-value products to distributors, dealers, or within the hospitality sector is highly desirable. A background in manufacturing or production is also a plus!
