Project Assistant Job description West Suffolk College - Bury St Edmunds 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year - Permanent Salary: £ 23,808 - £ 24,612 per annum (Dependent on qualifications and experience) We are seeking a proactive and organised Project Assistant to support the delivery of key projects across the Eastern Education Group, working closely with the Programme Manager and wider project teams. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop a career in project management. You may already have experience supporting projects, or you may be new to the field. As a Project Assistant, you will contribute to project reviews and approval processes and assist in recording, monitoring, and reporting risks, issues, and dependencies. You will support the Programme Manager and project teams with general project administration, documentation, and implementation activities, promoting best practice throughout, with opportunities to lead on your own smaller projects. Strong time management and organisational abilities are essential, enabling you to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities. You will be a confident team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively while also taking initiative and ownership of your workload.
