GSL Education are looking to recruit a dedicated KS3 Teaching Assistant to join a school in Nottingham. This role provides an excellent opportunity to support pupils across Key Stage 3 and above, helping them to stay engaged, build confidence, and succeed in their learning. Role Overview: As a KS3 TA, you will work alongside teachers to support learning in the classroom. You will provide targeted help to individuals and small groups, encourage participation, and ensure pupils of all abilities can access the curriculum. As a KS3 TA, you will: Support teachers in delivering lessons across KS3 and higher year groups. Provide additional help in core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science. Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to raise attainment. Encourage positive learning behaviours and resilience. Assist with preparing resources and supporting classroom organisation. Monitor and record pupil progress, sharing feedback with teachers. Requirements for KS3 Teaching Assistant: Previous experience supporting pupils in school setting. A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, resilience, and a proactive approach. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
