ELSA Teaching Assistant - Special School, Dursley Are you an ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) qualified Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive special school environment? About the Role: As an ELSA Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting the emotional well-being and academic progress of our students. You'll work closely with pupils, individually or in small groups, to help them develop essential emotional literacy skills, build resilience, and thrive within our school community. Key Responsibilities: Deliver ELSA interventions tailored to individual student needs. Support students in managing their emotions, developing social skills, and improving self-esteem. Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support. Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment. We're Looking For Someone Who Is: ELSA qualified (essential). Experienced in working with children with special educational needs. Patient, empathetic, and resilient. An excellent communicator with a passion for supporting young people. Able to work effectively as part of a team. Working Hours and Pay: This is a full-time position, 5 days a week, with a competitive daily rate of £90 - £110, depending on experience. Why Join Our School?
