Professional Learning Coach - Internal Vacancy
29.6 hours per week or above, 52 weeks per year
2 additional increments (up to a maximum of £44,202 per annum)*
Fixed term period until 31 July 2026
Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our team of Professional Learning Coaches to support the development of the quality of education throughout Crawley College and across the Chichester College Group.
We are currently seeking to appoint an experienced and innovative teacher to support colleagues across curriculum teams. We are looking for highly motivated members of staff who are driven to exceed. You will support the lesson observation process, co-ordinate Spotlights and Roadshows and work across the College to inspire and promote a culture of engagement in developmental opportunities. You will aspire to be at the forefront of the latest research and developments in teaching, learning and assessment.
Applicants should note that PLCs are also expected to contribute to cross college training and development as part of the work of Professional Development and undertake other duties relevant to the Group’s teaching and learning improvement strategy.
We welcome applications for Professional Learning Coach (PLC) posts from members of staff who are on contracts of .8 (29.6 hours) and above and who are able to work on Fridays. PLCs offer a wide variety of support to colleagues and their availability throughout the week is a key component to being able to provide this.

*This post is open to teaching staff only, who will receive 3 hours teaching remission to carry out the duties of a Professional Learning Coach.
If your salary point goes above Band L, point 48 through incremental progression, you will no longer be eligible to receive Crawley Weighting in line with clause 5.9 of the Group’s Pay Policy.
