Essential Criteria: Extensive experience in conducting Ofsted inspections and a deep understanding of the Education Inspection Framework. Proven track record of working with training providers and colleges, implementing quality assurance processes, and utilising e-portfolio systems and learner management systems effectively. Holds relevant assessing, quality assurance, and teaching qualifications, along with strong IT skills and confidence in using various IT tools. Highly organised with a keen eye for detail. Demonstrates effective communication skills with managers, staff, and stakeholders, coupled with a strong commitment to supporting and developing staff. Passionate about working with learners and aiding their development. Possesses an analytical and inquisitive mind, focused on providing timely and accurate information. Tracks funding changes, best practices, and competitor benchmarking to make informed recommendations and suggest programme and delivery improvements. Exhibits flexibility and readiness to support the team as needed. Ability to integrate qualifications seamlessly into business processes, championing their significance, and ensuring they comply with funding requirements. Key Responsibilities Summary: Implement observations of teaching, learning, and assessment strategies, and conduct curriculum deep dives. Undertake quality support visits and support the Self-Assessment and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) process. Construct and support staff development activities, ensuring the ongoing CPD of delivery teams, as well assisting individuals and teams with development action plans. Design and structure programme learner journeys and learning resources and update online delivery components in line with curriculum developments. Maintain relationships with End Point Assessment Organisations (EPAOs) and Awarding Organisations. Monitor learner progression to ensure timely achievement and conduct sampling activities of learners. Report and evaluate data to consistently achieve targets and KPI measures. Ensure consistency with Ofsted’s Education Inspection Framework and develop sector improvement plans to support the Business Improvement Plan (BIP). Maintain up-to-date knowledge of funding streams, qualifications, and apprenticeship standards, and collaborate with colleagues across departments to meet business priorities.
