Job: Data/AI Presales Architect (Hybrid Remote + Nottingham)
Salary: to £95k + annual bonus (approx. £20k)

Location: Flexible Hybrid working - offices based in Nottingham (1-2 days/week)

Role: As their Data & AI Presales Architect you will be responsible for leading pre-sales engagements, supporting sales efforts, and designing modern Data & AI solutions tailored to customer needs. This role bridges business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring that proposed architectures align with best practices, scalability, and business objectives. Additionally, the role includes involvement in project work, contributing to solution implementation and delivery.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead pre-sales engagements, including customer meetings, workshops, and proof-of-concept (PoC) demonstrations.
2. Design scalable and efficient Data & AI architectures, ensuring alignment with customer goals and industry best practices.
3. Develop and present proposals, estimates, and solution roadmaps to customers.
4. Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, delivery, and product teams, to shape go-to-market strategies.
5. Provide guidance on technology selection, data strategy, and AI implementation approaches.
6. Support customers in defining Data & AI transformation roadmaps.
7. Work on project delivery where required, contributing to solution implementation and best practices.
8. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends in Data, AI, and cloud platforms.
9. Engage with customers throughout the sales and delivery lifecycle, ensuring clear communication and follow-ups.
10. Maintain strong customer relationships by proactively addressing concerns and providing ongoing support.
Duties:
1. Engaging in technical discovery sessions with customers.
2. Developing high-level and detailed technical designs.
3. Creating and delivering customer presentations and proposals.
4. Collaborating with marketing and sales teams on go-to-market strategies.
5. Supporting bid management and RFP responses.
6. Providing advisory and thought leadership on Data & AI solutions.
7. Ensuring seamless transition from presales to project delivery.
8. Contributing to internal knowledge sharing and best practice development.
9. Assisting in project execution and implementation when required.
10. Ensuring continuous engagement with customers to track progress and address feedback effectively.
11. Keeping up to date with changes/developments in Data & AI technologies and industry best practices, through self-learning, training, and research.
Essential:
1. Experience in presales, customer engagement, and proposal development.
2. Experience in Data & AI architecture and solution design.
3. Experience working for a consultancy or agency.
4. Experience with data engineering tools (SQL, Python, Spark).
5. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
6. Hands-on experience with data platforms (Azure Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake).
7. Ability to translate clients' business needs into technical solutions.
8. Ability to attend & contribute to keynote talks & events.
9. Customer engagement and relationship management skills.
10. Understanding of BI and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau).
Desirable:
1. Experience of Microsoft Fabric.
2. Experience of Microsoft Dynamics.
3. Experience with data governance and compliance frameworks.
4. Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, MLflow).
5. Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
