Sales Administrator, Banbridge
Hours of Work : 9am-5pm (Mon-Fri)
Salary depending on experience
Duties
1. Respond quickly and efficiently to all in-coming enquiries
2. Receive and process orders and payments efficiently
3. Manage sales order processing function from order receipt through to invoice, delivery and collection
4. Maintaining regular communication and provide routine updates to ensure that all customers are kept fully informed of the progress of their orders
5. Resolve problems to customer's satisfaction in a timely fashion and ensure root cause has been identified and communicated to relevant department for corrective action
6. Maintain administrative processes and procedures for the effective running of the office
7. Support the Customer Support Team Leader to ensure cost efficiencies, effective logistics management and internal processes and procedures are followed.
8. Liaise with the internal departments to ensure successful order fulfilment
9. Booking transport inc. third party hauliers, accurately conveying load details
10. Assisting with daily scheduling of delivery routes and associated administration
11. Liaise daily with relevant parties to ensure that orders are invoiced correctly, and the customer gets their documentation. In conjunction with the Credit Control Department, ensure that all sales invoices are issued and settled in accordance with the company's terms of business
12. Liaising with credit control in order to ensure orders can be released
13. Maintain and update a customer management and payments system
14. Liaising with drivers with regards to deliveries and rescheduling failed deliveries to utilise stock in transit
15. Support the external sales function and assist with marketing initiatives
16. Perform other clerical duties such as scanning, photocopying and filing
Essential Criteria
17. A minimum of 5 GCSE's (or equivalent) at Grade C or above (including Maths and English)
18. At least 1 years' administration experience in a busy sales or customer service environment
19. Proficient in MS Office with a good working knowledge of MS Excel and Word
20. Excellent written, oral and numerical communication skills
21. Well organised, good time management, systematic, committed to developing teamwork
22. Works well of own initiative
23. Ability to work under pressure and multitasking
Desirable Criteria
24. 3rd level qualification in a business-related subject
