Main duties of the job
Integrated Front Door - Empowering Families, Protecting Futures
Join our team as an Assistant Team Manager in the renowned Integrated Front Door (IFD) team! Rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted, our team has been transforming out-of-hours support for children and young people since January 2020.
As the Assistant Team Manager, you will facilitate seamless service access, guide referrals to partner agencies, and provide emergency responses during out-of-hours periods.
You will support the implementation of the early support hub and help reshape service delivery, working closely with senior managers to embed innovative approaches.
The role involves flexible working with a rolling shift pattern from 8 am to midnight, including weekends and holidays, with unsocial hours payments in line with Council policies.
Requirements include Social Work England registration, a recognized social worker qualification, up-to-date legislation knowledge, management/supervision qualifications (level 4), and at least two years of relevant experience or training.

* Manage and lead a team of social workers, senior information officers, information officers, and support staff.
* Conduct regular supervision in accordance with policies.
