This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing the successful delivery of event projects and leading a team of project managers to ensure excellence across all stagesfrom planning through to on-site execution. You'll work on a wide variety of projects including indoor and outdoor exhibition stands, roadshows, and event trailers, supporting a diverse client base across the UK. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor the Project Management team, ensuring effective processes and high performance. Oversee the end-to-end delivery of multiple client projects simultaneously. Coordinate with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure all logistical, operational, and technical requirements are met. Attend client sites to oversee delivery and support the operational team during key activations. Take ownership of budgets, P&L tracking, and cost efficiency across all projects. Act as escalation point for any project-related issues, ensuring timely resolution. Contribute to business development by identifying growth opportunities within existing client accounts. Report regularly to senior leadership and contribute to team development strategies. About You Proven experience managing complex projects in events, exhibitions, or a related industry. Prior leadership experience within a project management team. Excellent communication, organisation, and client management skills. Able to balance multiple priorities, stay calm under pressure, and deliver against tight deadlines. Technically competent with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with CAD or SketchUp is desirable. Familiarity with event safety standardsNEBOSH or IOSH qualifications are a bonus. Comfortable with both office-based and on-site work. Must hold a valid UK driving licence. Desirable Experience Background in an event agency or similar creative environment. Experience working on-site at events or exhibitions. Knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001:2015. Marketing or social media experience is a plus.
