Prospero Teaching are looking for a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Class Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Street, Somerset, for Term 6. The Role
1. Full-time Year 5 Class Teacher
2. Covering Term 6, starting 1st June 2026
3. Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
4. Creating a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
5. Working alongside a supportive SLT and year group team
6. Paid to the Main Teacher Pay Scale (MPS)

The Ideal Candidate
11. Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
12. Has experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 5
13. Demonstrates strong classroom management and a pupil-centred approach
14. Is adaptable, enthusiastic, and committed to high-quality teaching
15. Able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
Requirements
16. Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
17. Right to work in the UK
18. Strong references covering the last two years as a minimum
