F-Gas Trainer

Are you an experienced refrigeration or air-conditioning professional looking to share your expertise and shape the next generation of engineers? We’re seeking a knowledgeable and motivated F-Gas Trainer to deliver high-quality training and assessment to learners working towards industry-recognised qualifications.
The Role
As an F-Gas Trainer, you’ll deliver engaging and practical training sessions covering F-Gas handling, refrigeration, and air-conditioning systems in line with current legislation and industry standards. You will support learners in developing essential technical skills, ensuring they are fully prepared for assessment and employment in the sector.
Responsibilities
1. Deliver high-quality, hands-on training sessions in F-Gas and related refrigeration/air-conditioning qualifications.
2. Assess candidates’ competence against awarding body and industry requirements.
3. Design lesson plans, learning materials, and practical assessments to meet curriculum objectives.
4. Maintain accurate training and assessment records in line with quality assurance expectations.
5. Provide learner support, guidance, and feedback to encourage progression and achievement.
6. Keep up to date with industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of training delivery and course materials.
About You
You will:
8. Hold a recognised F-Gas Category 1 qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent).
9. Have significant occupational experience within refrigeration and air-conditioning.
10. Ideally possess an assessor qualification (such as TAQA, A1, or D32/33) and/or a teaching qualification (such as Level 3 AET, PTLLS, or equivalent).
11. Have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate learners.
12. Be committed to maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and quality in all training activities.
