About Us: Reed is a leading educational staffing agency dedicated to connecting talented teaching professionals with local schools. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teaching Assistants to join our pool of educators and support various schools in the area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
* Support students with their learning activities, ensuring they are on task and making progress.
* Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need additional help.
* Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
* Prepare and organize classroom materials and resources.
* Supervise students during breaks, lunchtimes, and other activities as needed.
* Adapt to different classroom environments and teaching styles.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and teaching styles.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
* A flexible and proactive approach to work.
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in education or childcare are a plus.
