This is a part-time (20 hours per week), open-ended position with funding available for up to 9 months initially.
The James Watt School of Engineering is seeking a Research Assistant to contribute to the MIMER project, working with Dr. Ahmed Zoha. The project aims to design a robust deepfake detection and authentication framework, specifically optimized for deployment within financial institutions to enhance identity verification and fraud prevention.
The successful candidate will also contribute to formulating and submitting research publications and proposals, and help manage this complex project as opportunities permit.
