About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and responsible Material Control Assistant to join our team. As part of the team, you will play a key role in supply of material and key parts to the wider team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be working in our state-of-the-art facility alongside a friendly, supportive team. Key Responsibilities: Support with issuing parts to the production team, ensuring accuracy and keeping simple records to track what’s been issued. Help monitor stock levels and notify the purchasing team when items are running low, especially during busy periods. Assist with distributing stock internally and updating inventory information on our bespoke stock management system (training provided). Help receive incoming deliveries by checking quantities, basic quality, and entering information into the system. Support the dispatch process by helping with picking, packing, and preparing outgoing goods for delivery. Keep work areas tidy and organised, showing a good level of personal organisation. Follow health and safety guidelines at all times, with training and guidance provided. Lend a hand with general upkeep and organisation of the stores area, including stock placement and labelling. Participate in stock checks and audits, learning how to identify and correct simple stock issues. Take part in improving how materials are stored and organised to make sure everything is easy to find and in the right place. Communicate effectively with team members and be open to learning from feedback and day to day experience. What We're Looking For: Experience working in a stores, warehousing, or material control environment, ideally within the automotive or motorsport industry Ability to accurately receive, inspect, record, and organise stock, ensuring parts are stored correctly and traceability is maintained Strong attention to detail and good computer literacy, including experience using inventory management.
