This role will be an integral part of the school's support team, directly impacting the learning and development of students with additional needs.
Job Description
* Provide support to students with SEMH needs in a classroom setting.
* Assist the teacher with lesson preparation and delivery.
* Support students with their learning, both individually and in groups.
* Implement and monitor individualised education programs (IEPs).
* Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective strategies for student support.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour.
* Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and needs.
* Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements
We're looking for you, if:
* You have experience working with students with SEMH needs.
* You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* You are patient, empathetic, and have a positive attitude.
* You have GCSEs in Maths and English at grade C or above.
* You are able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* You are committed to supporting the learning and development of students with additional needs.
