Overview
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work directly with pupils to support their learning, emotional development, and classroom engagement. You will provide 1:1 and small‑group support, help with behaviour and wellbeing strategies, and assist the class teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities
* Support pupils across the school, including both classroom and SEN environments.
* Provide 1:1 or small‑group support.
* Assist with behaviour management and emotional regulation.
* Help deliver classroom activities and learning tasks.
* Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to implement support plans.
Qualifications
* Psychology graduate, or strong interest in education, SEN, or child development.
* Empathetic, patient, and confident working with children.
* Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
