We are seeking motivated and creative candidates with a strong interest and background in the applied psychology of mental health. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Edinburgh and NHS Lothian site as a Research Assistant in the CONNECT study. The CONNECT study is a multi-site Wellcome Trust funded project aiming to identify relapse signatures using digital monitoring and data collection methods.
The Opportunity:
The post-holder will have experience and interest in research on psychosis or severe mental health problems. Responsibilities include recruiting and assessing participants and working closely with the Manchester Research Coordinator, the Project Manager, and the team. The successful applicant will be part of the Section of Clinical Psychology and the Contextual Mental Health Research Group.
Your skills and attributes for success:
* Up-to-date knowledge in working with people with severe mental health issues, especially psychosis.
* Experience with psychological self-report measures, rating scales, observations, and semi-structured interviews.
* Experience working in an NHS setting with people with severe mental health problems.
* Ability to plan, optimize, and communicate project findings effectively.
