Role Overview
We are seeking a talented Senior Game Designer to work on our next mobile game. You will collaborate within the design team to conceptualize features, develop engaging content, and guide a team working on a mobile game based on a popular brand. The role involves coordinating with various disciplines, communicating your vision clearly, and ensuring the quality of your work.
Responsibilities
1. Champion new ideas, propose designs, document, and implement in-game systems.
2. Manage features across multiple design areas including controls, cameras, systems, and balancing.
3. Develop iterative builds for playtesting, demonstrating progress.
4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as programmers and artists.
5. Contribute to creative problem solving and foster a positive team environment.
6. Work with project leadership to realize the core vision, unify features, and iterate based on feedback.
7. Coordinate closely with Product, Tech, and Art teams to deliver a high-quality game.
Qualifications
1. Versatile mobile game designer with experience in small to medium teams.
2. Passionate about and knowledgeable of the mobile gaming sector.
3. Capable of shifting between controls and systems design easily.
4. Strong understanding of design fundamentals across disciplines, with ability to suggest improvements.
5. Ownership of features and sufficient production and soft skills to support team collaboration.
