Food Technician
Location : Southport, PR8 Type of work : Part Time (3:4 days per week) Start date : April 2026 Hours : 8:30 am : 3:30 pm
Responsibilities:
Assisting with lessons: Helping sort materials, setting up equipment, and supporting students during lessons. Behaviour management: Foster a positive learning environment with good behaviour management. Practical work: would involve assisting the food technology teacher with cleaning/preparing for the lesson, including assisting during practicals. Monitoring well:being: Keeping an eye on students overall well:being and reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff members. Safeguarding: Ensuring the safeguarding procedure is followed when required
Requirements:
Teaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent (Desirable) Previous experience working with young people.

Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application. Provide two professional references/cover 24 months work with references
