This is a brilliant opportunity to work with a VIP Lounge in hospitality industry, and to be part of a dedicated team of highly motivated and experienced staff of all grades at Stansted Airport.Competitive pay rates: £13.00p/hShift Times: 08:30 am – 14:30 pm and 14:30 pm – 22:30 pm4 on 2 off shift pattern, 2 early and 2 late shifts.Full time position, 40hrs per weekWorking in a top professional environment with a friendly teamImmediate startAs a Kitchen Assistant you will be responsible for:• Assisting with food preparation to the spec• Collecting food items from kitchen and preparing buffet• Preparing hot and cold drinks• Adhering to food hygiene standards• Washing of crockery using a dishwasher• Moving stores and collecting goods from driver deliveries• Keeping stores tidy• Removal of non essential waste • General light cleaning duties• Sweeping areas to keep tidyTo be considered for the role of a Kitchen Assistant:• Ideally, you will have experience within a restaurant, pub, hotel environment or from a catering background.• You will have experience either as a Kitchen Assistant, Catering Assistant or Kitchen Helper.• Be able to work a flexible shift pattern• The ability to commute by public transport to and from Stansted Airport in order to work shiftsAs a Kitchen Assistant you will receive: · Meal whilst on duty and paid lunch break.· Weekly or monthly pay.· Full time hours between 37.5hrs or 40hrs per week.· A Criminal Record Check (DBS) reimbursed after 4 weeks.We would like to hear from individuals that have experience as a kitchen assistant, assistant cook, domestic assistant, kitchen helper, roundsman, kitchen porter, canteen assistant, school dinner lady, school canteen assistant, school catering assistant, waitress, waiter, barrister, food service assistant, stores assistant, gallery host.Successful applicants must be able to provide a 5 year checkable history for referencing purposes and will also be subject to security and criminal record check.If you feel you have the skills required for this Kitchen Assistant position, then click on the link below to Apply or contact Salman Akhtar.Aviation Recruitment Network Limited is acting as an Employment Business.
