Mascalls Academy has an exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable and efficient individual to join us as a Teaching Assistant. This role is perfect for: Experienced TAs looking to bring their expertise to a supportive new environment. Individuals passionate about starting a career in education, perhaps considering future teacher training, who want to gain valuable first-hand classroom experience. Graduates eager to make a direct impact while exploring a pathway into teaching. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who have previous experience working with pupils who have a diagnosis of ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or SLCN (Speech, Language & Communication Needs). As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with selected students on a 1:1 basis and support small groups both in mainstream classes and in our inclusion area via intervention sessions. You'll also collaborate with teachers to differentiate resources and help set and monitor targets. This is a fixed term position offering an actual salary of 18,559 per annum ( 23,656 full time equivalent) based on 33.75 hours per week, Term Time 1 week of inset.
