We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Power Electronics Engineer to lead the design and development of next-generation DC/DC, AC/DC, and DC/AC power conversion systems using wide bandgap semiconductors such as SiC and GaN. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology, driving innovation in high-efficiency, high-power-density solutions for applications in automotive, industrial, renewable energy, and aerospace sectors.
Lead the design, simulation, and development of high-performance power converters (DC/DC, AC/DC, and DC/AC) using SiC and GaN technologies.
Conduct circuit simulation, PCB layout design, and thermal management analysis to optimize performance.
Drive component selection and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (IEC, UL, automotive, aerospace, etc.).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate power electronics into larger systems.
Perform hardware validation, testing, and troubleshooting to improve system reliability.
Stay at the forefront of emerging power semiconductor technologies and industry trends.
Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or related field.
✅ 10+ years of experience in power electronics design, focusing on DC/DC, AC/DC, and DC/AC conversion.
✅ Extensive expertise in SiC and GaN-based power electronics for high-efficiency designs.
✅ Experience with high-frequency switching, EMI/EMC compliance, and thermal management.
✅ Deep understanding of control algorithms for power converters (digital and analog).
✅ Proven track record of leading projects from concept to production.
Experience in automotive, aerospace, industrial, or renewable energy applications.
Experience in digital control implementations (DSP, FPGA, Microcontrollers).
Exposure to SiC and GaN packaging, thermal modeling, and lifetime estimation.
