Associate Director - Geotechnical Engineering

This role will see you working amongst a diverse and talented team to design innovative and efficient solutions for projects across a variety of sectors and scales - including bridges, and more.
Your responsibilities:
1. Providing high-quality geotechnical support to our clients in the development of bespoke, sustainable, structural engineering and infrastructure projects in the UK and overseas.
2. Providing technical input into deliverables including specifications, design reports, and geotechnical interpretation.
3. Conducting analysis including soil-structure interaction, geotechnical numerical modelling, geotechnical substructure, and earthworks design.
4. Mentoring and providing technical support for colleagues.
5. Contributing to innovative and sustainable solutions for ground-related challenges.
6. Liaising with clients and maintaining our strong, unique work culture within the industry.
7. Collaborating with colleagues from other disciplines to provide coordinated design solutions.
8. Leading and managing project discipline input.
9. Supporting work-winning activities and client relationship management in a ground engineering context.
Your skills and experience:
* Significant geotechnical design experience across various project types.
* Ability to develop pragmatic, cost-effective, and sustainable solutions.
* Experience delivering projects with a strong technical focus, including geotechnical interpretation and design.
* Experience in rock engineering, including slope stability assessment and tunnelling/underground construction.
* Aptitude to lead and develop design capabilities.
* Master's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
* Professional registration with ICE or a relevant institution.
