Position Overview
Hounslow and Ealing NHS Talking Therapies services are recruiting Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs) as part of the NHS‑funded Talking Therapies training programme.
Training & Employment
Training is delivered by University College London (UCL) and is full‑time. Trainees attend university for one day per week and work within the service for four days per week. The course fees are fully funded by the NHS and trainees are employed full‑time at NHS Band 4 for the duration of the programme.
As a condition of the course, trainees must remain employed within an NHS Talking Therapies service throughout the training year.
Eligibility & Right to Work
Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.
Qualifications
The training programme is a Postgraduate Certificate, and applicants must demonstrate the ability to study at postgraduate level. This may be evidenced through degree‑level education or by demonstrating academic equivalence.
Experience & Skills
Applicants should have experience working with people experiencing psychological, interpersonal, or social difficulties. This experience may have been gained through paid employment or formal voluntary roles.
