Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Credit Controller based in Coatbridge, with flexibility to work from home on certain days. The Credit Controller will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients to maintain healthy cash flow, ensuring that payments are collected on time. Key day-to-day tasks include credit management, processing invoices, monitoring debtors, liaising with customers regarding overdue accounts, and identifying and resolving billing discrepancies. The role requires strong collaboration with the finance team and other departments to ensure accurate financial records and efficient operations.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Credit Control and Credit Management practices
Experience with Debt Collection and managing Debtors effectively
A background in Finance with attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Proficiency with financial software and tools is a plus
Experience in customer relationship management and problem-solving
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred
