Job title: Reliability Engineer

Hours per week: 40 hours (Days)
Shifts: Monday to Friday
Industries considered: Rolling Stock, HGV, Plant, Agricultural Engineering, Aviation, Defence (RAF, REME, Army, Navy, Marine), Avionics, and Process Engineering
Disciplines considered: Electrical Technician, Diesel Engine Fitter, Mechanical Engineer, Mechanic, HGV Technician, Aircraft Engineer, Marine Engineer, Maintenance Fitter, Breakdown Engineer
Position Summary
The Fleet Reliability Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise on all aspects of fleet reliability. This includes creating maintenance plans, managing fleet-specific reliability, developing growth plans, analyzing data, and identifying required actions.
Responsibilities
* Technical analysis and reporting
* Root cause analysis
* Developing and driving procedures
* Supporting technical review meetings
* Collaborating flexibly with the maintenance team
* Prioritizing FRACAS within actions and plans
* Detailed report writing
* Identifying and reporting trends
Person Profile/Experience
* Previous experience with Rolling Stock is preferred
* In-depth fault finding and root cause analysis skills are essential
* Knowledge of Diesel Engines is required
Qualifications
Minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Engineering, Electrical, or Mechanical disciplines
