Overview
The Passenger Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring a safe and comfortable travel experience for passengers, particularly those who may require additional support. This position involves assisting individuals with mobility challenges and ensuring the driver does not get distracted during the journey to school.
Duties
* Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking from vehicles, ensuring their safety at all times.
* Provide support to passengers with disabilities or special needs, including those requiring mobility aids.
* Communicate effectively with passengers to understand their needs and provide appropriate assistance.
* Ensure that all safety protocols are followed during the transport of passengers.
* Maintain a friendly and professional demeanour while interacting with passengers and colleagues.
* Report any incidents or concerns to the appropriate authorities promptly.
* Assist in the maintenance of cleanliness and organisation within the transport environment.

There are a handful of Sen school runs we do so it might be set or it might be a mixture. Hours are roughly between 7am and 10am then again between 2pm and 5pm, work is only available during term time although there might be some hours available during the school holidays. Work is currently only available 3 days a week but hopefully this will increase sooner rather than later.
