Client: My client is one of the UK's leading independent building services companies that specialises in several sectors including commercial, education, data centres, healthcare and retail. Role/Responsibilities:
· Read, understand and scrutinise Specifications
· Assist with management of design stage
· Procurement of sub-contractors, kit and plant
· Investigate Value Engineering
· Assist with preparation of Contract Documents I.e. Method Statements, Risk Assessments, RFI’s, etc.
· Coordination and management of direct labor
· Instruct and coordinate site managers
· Progress reporting
· Overseeing commissioning and testing
· Working with Quantity Surveyor on Commercial Accounts
· Preparation of OMs for final project handover
The ideal candidate:
· Ideally have a HNC or HND and good technical knowledge of Electrical services.
· Experience working in the data centre sector
· Ideally the candidate will have subcontracted to leading main contractors
· Have the right forward-thinking attitude
