Overview
myenergi Ltd is a progressive and innovative company with its HQ based in Stallingborough, with subsidiaries in Germany, Benelux, Northern Ireland, Australia and ambitions to expand globally. We specialise in the design and manufacture of ground-breaking renewable-energy technology products.
Purpose
To deliver revenue and margin growth for myenergi by recruiting, developing, and managing a network of electrical distributors / wholesalers and MCS-certified installers. The role bridges commercial sales and technical enablement, ensuring our products achieve sell-in to distributors and sell-through to installers / end customers. The role will lead a team of external sales people.
Responsibilities
* Channel & Distributor Management: Own relationships with UK distributor groups (CEF, Rexel, Edmundson, FEGIME, AWEBB, etc.). Negotiate pricing, rebates, and volume agreements. Manage stock, forecast demand, and ensure reliable supply allocation. Run joint business plans with distributors and track sell-through. Deliver branch training, counter days, and promotions to activate installers.
* Installer Engagement (MCS & Electrical Contractors): Identify and recruit MCS-certified solar battery, EV and heat pump installers. Build installer programs (tiered benefits, training, certification). Deliver CPDs, toolbox talks, and technical webinars. Support installers with project design tools, DNO/G98/G99 submissions, and product integration. Generate demand via case studies, marketing campaigns, and co-funded events.
* Sales & Growth: Achieve quarterly and annual revenue, margin, and partner recruitment targets. Map and influence the full decision chain (OEM → distributor → installer → end-user). Track pipeline, quote activity, and conversion through CRM. Develop cross-sell and upsell opportunities (Heat + storage + EV charger).
* Compliance & Quality: Support warranty and RMA processes, feeding back product issues.
* KPIs: Quarterly revenue & gross margin delivered through distributors; number of active installer partners (certified/trained); sell-through uplift per distributor branch; average deal size and attach-rate of bundled products (PV + battery + EV); training completions and installer satisfaction (NPS); accuracy of sales forecasts vs. actuals.
