To provide an efficient and effective inpatient administration service for all wards, Allied Health Professions and Nursing staff within Raigmore Hospital, ensuring the smooth running of patient pathways.

The post requires accurate and timely updating of the TrakCare patient management system, admissions, transfers, discharges, booking appointments, providing and tidying patient notes, scanning notes, answering phones, dealing with all enquiries and general administrative duties.

You will be required to have a flexible attitude to cover annual leave and unexpected sick leave. There may be a requirement to work Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa. NHS Highland is unable to provide candidates with a Certificate of Sponsorship.

* Effective from 1 April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
