Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 an hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but you can work fewer hours (minimum 12) if you prefer. We will schedule your contracted hours within the availability windows and give you 3 weeks' notice of your shifts.

Responsibilities:
* Know your customers and serve them with passion and pride; give great natural service.
* Be passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within your store.
* Put into practice the training you have received, so we all work safely, effectively, and serve our customers brilliantly.
* Deal with customer complaints and feedback in a professional manner, always sending customers home happy.
* Accurately record any customer details and treat this information confidentially.
* Carry out safe and legal checks on the desk that you are trained for, reporting any next steps to the Shift Leader/Team Manager.
* Record and dispose of waste in a responsible manner, including following food waste and recycling routines.
* Accurately record and process returned items from customers.
* Sign in visitors, ensuring they are aware of the health, safety, and fire procedures for the store.
* Control keys that may be stored at the desk correctly.
* Liaise with Shift Leaders, Managers, and Security, communicating clearly.
* Take part in seasonal, community, and charity events, creating a great inclusive atmosphere.
* Work across the store in our service, picking, and replenishment areas where required.
* Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
