Advanced Practitioner – Greater Manchester
Are you passionate about transforming education and enhancing the quality of teaching and learning?
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join a client as an Advanced Practitioner, working closely with the Director of Teaching, Learning, & Assessment at a cluster of schools.
Working with the director of teaching, learning & assessment, you will support a cluster of heads of school in the North West in rapidly improving the quality of teaching & learning. Advanced practitioners will conduct frequent learning walks, providing relevant coaching, training, and cpd to teaching staff in their cluster, as well as reviewing, revising, and supporting the implementation of curriculum initiatives for allocated subjects. the advanced practitioner will work as part of the education team to ensure a robust curriculum is delivered effectively.
1. Have a working knowledge of teachers’ professional duties and legal liabilities
2. Always operate within the stated policies and practices of the school and legal and statutory obligations
3. Have/develop sound subject knowledge to enable effective teaching, learning and development
4. Contribute to strategic direction of wider curriculum developments based on evidenced informed practice within the schools
5. Establish effective working relationships and set a good example through their presentation and personal and professional conduct
6. Endeavour to give every child the opportunity to reach their potential and meet high expectations
7. Co-operate with other staff to ensure sharing and effective usage of resources to the benefit of the school, department and students
8. Contribute to the corporate life of the school through effective participation in meetings and management systems necessary to coordinate the improvement of practice
9. Take part in marketing and liaison activities such as open evenings, parent evenings, review days and events with partner schools as appropriate
10. Take responsibility for own professional development and duties in relation to school policies and practices
11. Liaise effectively with parents and governors
12. To be aware of and follow the company safeguarding policies and procedures
13. Participate in the development of Progress Schools by: Attending and contributing to staff meetings & project meetingsContributing to the development of curriculum plans with experience from own roleEnsure the best practice in equal opportunities is applied to all work of Progress SchoolsSupport senior leadership to ensure effective educational practiceTo take part in appropriate training opportunities including standardisation meetings.

17. 36k + car allowance
18. TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
19. Hold Right to Work in the UK
20. Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to obtain a new one
21. Provide a minimum of two professional references
