Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a well-known service business based in Sheffield as they appoint a UK Management Accountant on a permanent basis following the completion of a successful acquisition.
This role will act as the leading finance point of contact for a substantial business division — coordinating an efficient month end process, business partnering with operational stakeholders, managing cash flow processes and being the main point of contact for audit queries.
This a well-rounded position designed to balance your skill set as you gain visibility and influence to affect business decisions for your business unit. You will be supported by a highly experienced Financial Controller who offers mentorship and guidance as part of their own progression. This opportunity is suitable for those who are Qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) and seeking more senior visibility in their role.
What’s on offer
* Salary between £50,000 - £55,000
* 2 days WFH
* 25 days AL + 8 BH

Duties and responsibilities
* Oversee all financial operations and planning for substantial business region
* Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts including variance analysis and commentary
* Lead the development of financial systems, processes, and internal controls
* Assist with cash management processes including cash flow forecasting
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting cycles
* Manage stakeholder relationships including operational teams
* Ensure compliance with tax obligations and timely HMRC submissions
* Support the external audit process as a key point of contact
