Role: Charity Officer Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid – 60% office / 40% WFH) Hours: Full-time – 37.5 hours per week Salary: £25,000 to £27,000 (DOE) An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Business Support professional to join our client’s well-respected charitable organisation. Benefits: ✔️ 25 days holiday 8 bank holidays ✔️ Free on-site parking ✔️ Hybrid working (60% office / 40% WFH) ✔️ Fantastic progression opportunities ✔️ Friendly and passionate team Duties of a Business Support role: Work closely with the wider team to support funding programmes and grant-making activity Attend community events and meetings to build strong relationships with local groups Represent the charity in the community, promoting its mission and services Produce written reports, assessments and funding evaluations Help to coordinate projects, events and stakeholder engagement Handle telephone and email enquiries in a professional and helpful manner Support administrative processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations What we would like from you: Excellent written and verbal communication skills – comfortable talking to community representatives, donors and internal teams Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce experience desirable) Analytical thinker with attention to detail – able to evaluate and report on funding/project outcomes A proactive and supportive team player Passionate about making a difference in the local community This is a progressive role with genuine opportunity to develop – ideal for someone who enjoys variety, has a people-focused mindset, and is passionate about supporting local causes.
