This is a Field-based role with the exciting opportunity to travel around the country in a team of 3 (candidates should be prepared to regularly spend 3 days per week from home), supporting essential environmental projects that help save water and protect natural resources.
Our client is a specialist engineering team dedicated to reducing environmental impact through innovative engineering solutions. This hands on role is ideal for someone with experience in the construction and/or water sectors (experience working with pumps is also highly desirable), though full training will be provided, including funded qualifications such as Confined Space Access, First Aid, Working at Height and CSCS certification.
In return, you’ll earn a competitive salary of c£33,500 per annum with a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours a week and regular overtime available. There’s also a performance-related annual bonus, plus all travel expenses are taken care of. The benefits package includes 20 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, with extra days earned after two years’ service. You’ll also get a company pension, access to fuel and credit cards, and enjoy a full Christmas shutdown.

Roles and responsibilities
* Undertake the role of Team Leader, taking the lead on site and of a team of 3
* Clean and maintain storage tanks (above and below ground)
* Carry out pump maintenance, valve replacements and pipework adjustments
* Carry toolbox talks and on site safety checks
* Produce accurate client reports and maintain administrative records
Skills and experience
* Comfortable staying away from home for up to four nights per week, across the UK
* A full UK driving licence (no more than 3 points)
* Interest or experience in construction, water, or pump systems
* Able to confidently use IT tools to complete documentation and client portals
* Excellent communication skills and a proactive, safety-first attitude
