Position
Great opportunity to join our team in this new role as FP&A Business Partner - Commercial
Key Responsibilities of the FP&A Business Partner - Commercial (including but not limited to)
Commercial Business Partnering
* Act as finance partner to EMEA & APAC Sales Director and global sales teams
* Provide financial support on pricing, margins, customer profitability, and deal structures
* Support contract reviews, renewals, and negotiations with strong financial analysis
* Challenge commercial proposals to ensure strategic and value‑driven decisions
* Identify opportunities to grow revenue and improve margins
* Be comfortable owning key processes and taking a leadership role on key projects
Growth, Strategy & Market Insight
* Deliver deep‑dive analysis across customers, channels, and markets, supporting customer growth, and commercial initiatives
* Lead financial input into customer segmentation, using profitability, behaviour, and growth potential to inform commercial strategy
* Provide insight into customer and segment performance to inform pricing, contract strategy, and sales prioritisation
* Use segmentation analysis to identify growth opportunities, margin improvement initiatives, and strategic risks
* Build financial models and business cases
* Translate commercial plans into financial outcomes
* Provide competitor and market insight to guide strategy
Sales Performance, KPI's and Scorecards
* Own and develop sales KPIs, dashboards, and scorecards to track performance against targets
* Provide clear insight into revenue drivers including volume, mix, pricing, and margin
* Support sales forecasting, budgeting, and long‑range planning processes
* Ensure performance reporting is forward‑looking, insightful, and decision‑focused
Key Customer Support
* Work closely with key accounts to deliver insight and customer‑level reporting
* Support Key Accounts with customer‑level P&Ls, margin analysis, and performance tracking
* Identify opportunities to improve customer profitability and long‑term value
Cross Functional Relationships and Board Level Support
* Business Partnering with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain to ensure close alignment, as well as working closely with our EMEA & APAC Sales Director and Head of Business Development.
* Collaborate with Accounting and Finance counterparts to implement best practice in the Finance Team and deliver on financial targets, assumptions, and performance metrics.
* Support Board and senior leadership with commercial and market insights
* Present clear, concise analysis and recommendations
Requirements
To join us you must have
Essential
* ACA / CIMA / ACCA qualified with at least 2 years PQE
* 2–3 years’ experience in a Commercial Finance or FP&A role
* Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
* Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets
* Ability to translate data into clear commercial insight
* Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage and challenge stakeholders
* Proven leadership skills with ability to influence Global and Commercial stakeholders
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment to tight deadlines, while simultaneously handle multiple projects and priorities
* Excellent organisational skills
Desirable
* Experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools
* Exposure to global sales teams or customer‑facing commercial roles
