EMBS Engineering is working in exclusive partnership with a highly reputable, well established precision engineering company that specialises in the manufacture of low volume, high value components for some of the worlds most recognised OEM's.

Due to growth and internal changes, our partner is seeking a skilled Production Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

As a Production Engineer, you will support day-to-day production engineering for the CNC machining department, specifically working on multi axis machines, overseeing products from cradle to grave across various clients and company revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities:
* Creating CAD CAM programs using offline software
* Proving out programs either manually on the machine and/or using validation software
* Working closely with Design Engineers to distinguish the correct Method of Manufacture
* Reviewing machining efficiencies and identifying production improvements through continuous improvement activities, reverse engineering and trouble shooting
* Generating documentation and controls plans such as PFMEA, MSA, Control Plans, Flow Charts, NPI etc
About You:
We are looking for candidates who possess experience in both CAD CAM programming and Production / Manufacturing Engineering. This role is a dynamic role whereby allowing you to not only be involved in creating the programs and method of manufacture, you will also be responsible for identifying potential improvements that could help increase productivity / output, reduce down time, scrap or quality, therefore playing a pivotal role in the companies development.
Successful candidates MUST be able to demonstrate:
* Background of working within highly regulated, advanced manufacturing or precision engineering industries
* Strong experience performing either a Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineer, CAD CAM Engineering or Offline Programming position within businesses that possess strong CNC Machining capabilities.
* Ability to identify a method or route of manufacture
* Ability to create/build/prove out jigs and fixtures
* Confident using CAD CAM software to create CNC programs
* Current or previous online programming capabilities using Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controls
Essential Requirements:
* Unrestricted right to work in the UK.
* Willingness to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
* Ability to commute to Tamworth / Lichfield area, reside within a commutable distance or willing to consider relocation to this area
