Job title: Membership Experience Manager (Maternity Cover)
Location: Cambridge (Hybrid)
Contract: Maternity Contract (Full or Part-Time Considered)
Salary: £32,000 to £37,000 per annum

Our client, a membership organisation, is currently recruiting for a proactive and relationship-focused Membership Experience Manager, on a maternity cover basis.
In this role, you’ll lead the development and delivery of a high-quality, engaging membership journey - ensuring their diverse community feels supported, valued and inspired. You’ll work across the organisation to enhance member satisfaction, retention and growth, while driving uptake of their products and services. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in the research and higher education sector, contributing to strategic projects and helping shape the future of their membership offer.
Responsibilities
* Lead the planning and delivery of membership engagement strategies to enhance satisfaction, retention, and growth.
* Manage the day-to-day membership operations, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience.
* Develop and deliver communications, events, and resources that respond to member needs.
* Monitor membership feedback and data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
* Support the promotion and uptake of their products and services.
* Oversee membership administration processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
* Contribute to strategic projects to evolve and strengthen their membership offer.
About You
* Experience in membership, customer engagement, or stakeholder management.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* A collaborative and adaptable approach, comfortable working across teams.
* Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* A proactive mindset, with the ability to identify and act on opportunities for improvement.
* An interest in the research and higher education sector (desirable but not essential).
