We have a fantastic opportunity for an Internal Sales Administrator Apprentice to join our growingSales team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has recently finished school or college and is at the beginning of their career journey. The role holder will effectively engage with both internal Sales Engineers and external customers to support customers with sales queries and proactively provide solutions to all sales enquiries. The candidate must be interested in achieving a Sales Executive Level 4 qualification. The role will provide practical learning on the job to complement your studies.
The role holder will report to the Sales Manager. The position is office based, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm, temporary role for the duration of the apprenticeship. On successful completion of the apprenticeship course you will potentially have the opportunity to progress to a Sales Administrator position within the business.

Key Responsibilities
* Handle inbound customer enquiries via phone and email, providing product guidance and technical support.
* Prepare and submit accurate quotations and proposals using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) within agreed timelines.
* Maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and identify additional opportunities within existing accounts.
* Prepare quotes using approved price lists and margin guidelines; attach technical datasheets as required.
* Verify quotes reflect current stock levels and known constraints (e.g., backorders, component shortages).
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, including opportunities, contacts, pricing and order details.
* Assist with general CRM administration (Salesforce) to ensure data quality and consistency.
* Set up and manage Customer Portal logins, including password resets, and assist customers with portal navigation.
