Job Title: Waste Collection Driver (HGV)
Location: Robinson Way Depot, Telford Way Industrial Estate, Kettering, NN16 8PP
Client: North Northamptonshire Council
Contract Dates: 24th November 2025 – 15th May 2026
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM (37 hours per week)
Pay Rate: £15.84 per hour (PAYE) or £20.12 per hour (Umbrella)
Employer Type: Agency Worker (via Place and Economy Services)

Key Responsibilities
* Safely drive and operate an HGV refuse collection vehicle on assigned routes
* Collaborate with crew members to complete daily waste and recycling rounds
* Carry out pre- and post-use vehicle checks, reporting any defects or issues
* Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle at all times
* Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations and procedures

What We’re Looking For
* Valid HGV (Category C) licence
* Driver CPC qualification and valid Tacho Card
* Previous experience operating refuse vehicles or working in waste collection
* A strong focus on safety, reliability, and teamwork
* Able to follow set routes and schedules reliably
