Our diverse case load offers a varied and challenging environment for our team, providing out of hours care for our hospitalised medical and surgical inpatients across our different wards. We have an anaesthesia team available around the clock for out-of-hours emergency procedures, as well as dedicated specialists on call for each discipline to provide emergency support for inpatients.

As a large multidisciplinary referral hospital, we offer impressive facilities and state-of-the-art equipment which enable us to provide outstanding treatment to our patients from the initial consultation right through to discharging them from our care.
Qualities we seek: The successful applicant in our vet nurse role will be:
* An RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse.
* Passionate about caring for our clients and their pets.
* Motivated to deliver the exceptional clinical standards that SCVS is known for.
* Experience in an OOH/ECC environment is advantageous.
* Should be confident nursing a variety of complex cases in a wards setting.
* Referral hospital experience is beneficial.
Working hours that provide flexibility. Our shift patterns comprise 39hrs per week. All shifts are 7pm-8am. The shift pattern works on a rolling rota of approx 3 nights per week on average, which will include weekends on occasion.
