Job description
Our client, a leading engineering and maintenance provider, is seeking a skilled Panel Wirer to join their team in St Helens on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide wiring, mechanical assembly and fitting of components within electrical control cabinets and systems
2. Read and understand circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
3. Collaborate effectively with the engineering team
4. Wire electrical control cabinets and systems
5. Work both independently and as part of a multi-skilled team
6. Fit out and assemble components within electrical control cabinets and systems
7. Work as part of a team and use knowledge of 5S/Lean manufacturing to achieve KPIs
Job Requirements:
8. Experience as a Panel Wirer within the manufacturing sector
9. Proficient in reading and understanding circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
10. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
11. Knowledge of 5S/Lean manufacturing principles
12. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
13. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
