You’ll be joining a supportive and experienced team, with access to on-site training and ongoing professional development. The school is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to work either on a 1:1 basis or with small groups of pupils with special educational needs. Key responsibilities: • Provide support to help students stay focused, engaged, and on track with their learning • Collaborate with teachers to plan, prepare, and deliver tailored learning activities • Supporting students in both mainstream classes and within a small hub provision Encourage progress not only in academic areas but also in essential life skills such as communication, independence, self-care, and social interaction Candidate requirements: • A strong interest in supporting children and young people with additional needs • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills • A flexible, proactive mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team • An understanding of autism and/or experience working with special educational needs (preferred but not essential) All successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
