We are looking for a Learning & Development manager part time to deliver learning and development initiatives that drive talent development, employee competencies and organisational performance. To partner with OU leadership, project directors and line managers to embed a culture of continuous learning and development aligned with Skanska’s values.
What you’ll do:
1. Lead the development and implementation of learning and development initiatives aligned with the Infrastructure operating unit and ‘one Skanska’ philosophy, including supporting infrastructure sector-specific skills initiatives.
2. Design, deliver and evaluate learning interventions that enhance technical skills and leadership capabilities across the operating units (e.g. line manager training).
3. Partner with a BU Capability area to identify and address competency gaps using learning needs analysis
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with OU leadership, project directors, HRBPs, line managers, as well as L&D Managers in other operating units, to ensure L&D initiatives meet evolving business needs.
5. Act as a trusted advisor on all learning matters, influencing decision making to embed a culture of continuous development
6. Support the OU quarterly Talent Review process and demonstrate tangible outputs in relation to the development of OULT successors.
7. Support talent identification and succession planning including through targeted development interventions and project/sector talent reviews.
8. Ensure clarity around career paths to support retention, development and progression.
