Our client is a leading, fast-growing organisation renowned for designing and constructing some of London’s most impressive buildings. They are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead both their Facilities Account Management team and their London-based Engineering team.
This is a multi-site, client-facing role, not a traditional in-house FM position. You will oversee service delivery across premium London buildings, ensuring exceptional standards from first client call through to on-site engineering work. As the main escalation point for clients, you will ensure smooth operations, strong communication, and top-level service at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop the Facilities Account Managers and London-based engineering team.
* Manage FM operations across multiple high-end client sites.
* Handle client escalations and maintain excellent relationships.
* Conduct site surveys and support engineering delivery.
* Drive improvements, new ideas, and collaborative ways of working.
* Ensure compliance with NEBOSH, H&S, and statutory requirements.
* Support commercial performance, reporting, and departmental development.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Strong experience in Facilities Management across multiple sites or client portfolios.
* Excellent leadership and people-development skills.
* Confident dealing with high-end clients and demanding environments.
* Commercially astute and comfortable with site work and engineering oversight.
* Proactive, collaborative, and able to implement positive change.
Qualifications Required:
* IWFM Level 3 or 4 / NEBOSH / IOSH
