We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant team. This role is essential in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant. As a Front of House Team Member, you will be the face of our establishment, responsible for providing outstanding hospitality and service to our guests.
Duties
* Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
* Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest preferences are noted.
* Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to food safety standards.
* Assist in food preparation as required, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area.
* Engage with guests to enhance their dining experience through effective upselling techniques.
* Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
* Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction at all times.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and service flow.
* Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests effectively.
Experience
* Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential.
* Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is advantageous.
* Basic culinary skills or kitchen experience will be beneficial for this role.
* Strong guest services skills with an ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
* Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
* Excellent time management abilities to balance multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £7.55-£12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 45 per week
