Travelfusion is the world's largest travel technology and distribution company, powering the majority of low-cost flights booked globally via the most popular online travel agents. If you’ve ever booked a low-cost flight via an online travel agent (OTA), it was probably powered by Travelfusion. We offer a set of APIs/services which enhance the capability of communications between airlines and OTAs; in addition, we have developed in-house a range of products which manage payments and reconciliations for millions of airline tickets. The Role This is a new role for an experienced, qualified HR professional to lead Travelfusion’s HR function. Strategic Leadership and Planning: Develop and implement HR strategies creating and executing HR plans that support the overall business strategy and objectives Provide strategic guidance o ffering expert advice to senior management on all HR related matters Drive organisational change l eading and managing change initiatives within the HR function and across the organisation Talent Management developing and implementing strategies for talent development and retention Operational Management: Oversee HR functions m anaging performance management, employee relations, training & development, compensation & benefits and HR compliance Ensure legal compliance ensuring that all HR practices comply with UK employment law and regulations in collaboration with in-house legal team Manage HR budget overseeing the HR department's budget and ensuring efficient resource allocation HR policies creating and updating HR policies and procedures in line with best practices and legal requirements Employee Relations: Manage employee relations h andling employee relations issues, including grievances and disciplinary actions Promote a positive work environment f ostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture Manage employee engagement developing and implementing initiatives to improve employee engagement and satisfaction Conduct investigations managing and conducting investigations into potential breaches of company policy or misconduct HR Operations: HR systems high level overview of BambooHR and maintenance of HR systems and technology Data collection and accuracy maintaining accurate and up-to-date HR records and data Produce HR reports generating regular HR reports and analytics to track HR performance and identify areas for improvement Manage HR budget ensuring efficient resource allocation within the HR department Key Skills and Qualifications Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role: Demonstrable experience in leading and managing an HR function. Minimum 7 years in a London based commercial business Strong knowledge of UK employment law: In-depth understanding of relevant legislation and regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels verbally and in writing Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to analyse data, identify trends and develop solutions Strategic thinking and planning abilities: Ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives Experience in change management: Ability to lead and manage organisational change initiatives CIPD qualified (or equivalent): A recognised HR qualification or MSc in related subjects Technology company experience preferred
