Job Title: Factory Supervisor
Location: Hythe
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
Job Type: Full-Time Permanent
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am till 5pm. Friday 8am till 12pm.
Holiday: 20 days, increasing to 25 after 3 years & 30 after 10 years + Bank Holidays.

We are proud to be working with a worldwide long standing forward thinking Manufacturing organisation in Hythe who are currently recruiting for a brand new role, a Factory Supervisor. This company prides themselves on delivering high-quality products through efficient, safe, and well-managed manufacturing processes. As they continue to grow, this expansion allows them to hire a proactive, experienced and motivation individual to join a Factory team of 17 and play a key role in leading our production operations.
Job Summary:
The Factory Supervisor will oversee daily factory operations, alongside one other Factory Supervisor, to ensure production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, health and safety, and team performance. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff to meet output and quality targets.
Monitor production schedules and adjust workflows to meet deadlines.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment; report or resolve issues as needed.
Train, coach, and evaluate production workers.
Maintain accurate production records and report on performance metrics.
Work closely with management to implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
Uphold company standards and policies, ensuring staff performance and conduct align with expectations.Requirements:
Proven experience as a Factory Supervisor or Line Leader in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of production processes and machinery.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and problem-solve in a fast-paced setting.
Basic computer literacy
